I’ve been watching the growing trend away from ownership of luxury items to experiential life-changing event participation and fractional ownership. Then today I received this link to Trend Watchers talking about the “Transumer”. It is fascinating to see the emergence of the consumer dedicated to trying a wide variety of luxury slices. Of great interest is also the emergence of eBay as the trading ground for this trend.
