JC Penney was having a half price sale on bras. I was interested in nursing bras and wanted to be sure these were included in the sale before I took the time to drive to the store. I called the department and was assured that "yes, the sales included all bras." I even asked if she was "sure" and was she reiterated what she had told me...
I selected the bras I wanted but at the register was informed that the sale did not include nursing bras because they're from a different department. Needless to say, I was very annoyed but courteous to the sales person since she was not the one that gave me the wrong information. I explained that I called in advance to avoid the trip and was told emphatically that the items were on sale. After a little discussion, the sales lady called her manager and explained the situation.
To my surprise and delight, the manager gave me the sale price and the sales lady was extremely pleasant and pleased to be able to handle this problem satisfactorily.
